It seems that people are more attracted to stripes than geometric shapes. I realized this at the TOAE a few weeks ago and therefore will be painting a few stripe paintings in the near future. I’ve just finished the first one and I can’t stop looking at it! I’m thinking of pouring resin on it.
I’ve also started making my own supports again. It’s cheaper and looks much better. Because I cannot find pine in Vancouver, I’ve been making my stretchers with fir. they look really nice and reddish brown.

I saved all the tape from this painting. It is a beautiful sculpture that REALLY collects dust.
